Alfred the great of Wessex
Alfred the great was the astuteand benevolent king of Wessex, and he ruled from 871-899. The Vikings whereconcordby Alfred the great who wasvery astute. He had for bothers which whereking, because he was next in line,  and his brothers died he became king, Alfred also converted the Viking ruler to Christ when he captured him. He also captured almost all of the Viking land. Alfred the great was the only one called’ ’great’’. Alfred the great was one of the most benevolentof all kings. Alfred ruled gloriously and was respected in all the land. Alfred was the king of Wessex.

Vikings
The Vikings lived in Scandinavia from 700-100 A.D. the Vikings were feared in all of Europe. They journeyed intrepidly around killing and looting. They also ferociously killed women as well as children and men. The church who was afraid of the Vikings, had a special prayer for protection against then. The Vikings, who desired land, sailed on hundreds on ships to conquer land. Because he was so scared king Charles the simple hastily proclaimed that refused to fight and gave them a piece of land everywhere they went the Vikings struck fear like a bolt of lightning into people

Charlemagne


Charlemagne was the king of the franks and was born in 742 A.D. Charlemagne who was very religious forcefully baptized all the people he captured.  Charlemagne’s empire covered most of Europe. There had not been such a big empire since Rome .Charlemagne published many good laws that improved the empire. He also built many roads and schools. He hired men to make sure these laws were kept and in return he gave these neb land. There were many schools built one was best because it was in the palace. Charlemagne believed that everyone who wanted education should have it. Charlemagne was remembered like he was the father of Europe. Charlemagne was thought of as the father Europe.
