The lighthouse of Alexandria
The lighthouse of Alexandria is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The massive structure was built on the island of pharos. The gigantic edifice tower 328 feet.[1] Instead of a light bulb the lighthouse was lit up with the fire which was reflected by mirrors to enhance the gorgeous light that shone majestically like Topaz and citrine. It’s elevator carried substantial amount of fuel up to the blazing fire. Legend claims that the light was focused an enemy ship to set them ablaze Pharaohs lighthouse deserves its title as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world
