Cross-Cultural Communication and Music

We all have hopes and dreams. What are yours? Music and cross-cultural communications mix well. They just happen to be my passions. I have played violin since I was extremely young and hope to continue in my journey of studying music. Cross-cultural communications and music are good passions.

[5] When I grow up, I want to be an amazing musician. Hopefully  I would like to study Indian music so that I can be a unique teacher and play Indian as well as Western music because I love both in different ways. It would be great if someday I could study church music like my teacher, who is amazing. She is my role model and I hope to be like her when I grow up. [3] Eventually, I might even be able to be in the music ministry at UBC, my church. The international ministry is something I am passionate about and I am sure I can glorify God through using my music in the international ministry. I can glorify god with the musical talents he has given me.

I have been blessed since birth with the rare opportunity to always be surrounded by internationals. I have constantly been immersed in a variety of cultures and languages. Even in my home there are different cultures. Being in this environment has led me to love diverse ethnicities and I have always been fascinated with distinctive tribes and their beliefs. I love the ministry that my family has been a part of for so long, and hope to continue it as I get older with my siblings. God expressed in the Bible how necessary cross-cultural communications are   when he himself crossed cultures and was born into the world. Many other Bible characters had cross-cultural experiences such as Paul, Rehab, Danial, David, Ruth, Esther, and others. Cross-cultural communication is one of my major passions.

Music is a great lifelong interest of mine. I am sure cross-cultural communication is a skill I can use in the future.  Most importantly cross-cultural communication and music open doors as we find our world constantly getting smaller. Music takes you to a world that can’t be imaged.  It can be a form of therapy and cross barriers between cultures.
