Rejoice when you are persecuted

Lesson 24

Rejoice when you are persecuted
Which of you would sing if you. Were in prison. This story can be found in acts which is a book in the bible by Luke. This story is about Paul, Silas, and God. It all started at the market were there was a girl possessed by demons that proclaimed ‘’these men are servants of the most high God who proclaim to you the way of salvation. Paul was disturbed and sent the demon out of her. Her owners were greatly destressed because she brought then a good sum of money, so Paul and his companion Silas were sent to jail without a trial
This story sadly and drearily takes place about the time of Paul’s second mission in a dark dreary musty smelling prison. the dark Dungun told the story of the many deaths that had taken place there. This story is manly about Paul, Silas, God, and the jailer. Paul and Silas were missionaries. Before he became a missionary Paul, persecuted Christians and was called Saul. These men were faithful.
Paul and Silas who were badly wounded by the romans were sent to a very dark sell in a dark prison. Singing Paul and Silas amazingly praised the lord as if they were at a celebration. The prisoners were very annoyed. Just then there was a huge earthquake. Running the jailer came scared. ‘’what is happening? ‘’
Then in a few seconds the jailer was holding his sword to his throat and Paul called out to him ‘’do not harm yourself For we are here .‘’Gleeful happy and relieved the jailer called out to him and fell to his knees ‘’what has caused you to have such kindness ? ‘’Paul replied it is God who saved me then the jailer asked how should I be saved? Paul replied Believe in God. Immediately the jailer brought Paul and Silas too his home and gently washed him and fed him. From that time on the jailer and his family were Christian.
This story is a good example. About how God answers prayer. when things are not effortlessly easy, we need to be like Paul and Silas. Paul was faithful and Silas was encouraging. This story teaches that God has a plan. I think this message is very important. think about it which of you agree. When things are difficult, we need to rejoice.

Week 22
 March 19, 2020
Have you ever been through the most extreme hardships, misunderstanding and mind-boggling pain? Well Adoniram and Ann Judson are some of the most faithful hardworking and very misunderstood missionaries. Here are their stories. Adoniram came from a Christian family but joined a gang to oppress Christians as a young person. Ann came from a rich family that claimed to be Christion but, Ann often questioned her faith as a young person. When Adoniram was in college one of his partners in mocking Christion’s died. Adoniram was shocked and became a believer. In a short amount of tine Adoniram met Ann and they were in February of 1812 in Bradford Massachusetts. Fourteen days ladder the newlyweds sailed for India. On the ship their first two babies died. on the way to India Adoniram diligently studied the bible to oppose Willian Carrey a famous Baptist missionary. But while studying, he and Ann found that the Baptist principles were true and were baptized by Carrey, when the British east India company heard that they Americans were in India the sent the out the story of the faith of the Judson’s is an entrusting one.
The work that they began in Burma was difficult. After they were sent out of India the Judson’s hopelessly sailed to Burma, a land where the gospel had never been preached. In Burma the people did not listen. the first step wasted learn the difficult language   many years later, because Ann was better at the language, she helped Adoniram translate the bible into Burmese and make a dictionary. Six years later they baptized there first Burmese twelve years later they baptized there first Burmese. twelve years later the church grew to eighteen members. Suddenly sickness struck the palace Adoniram and his co-worker Dr. price were called. this was a food chance for Adoniram to preach. Many people became Christians in the palace. While they were working, they heard that Ann was going to have a baby in about six months. The work that god had for Adoniram and Ann to do was difficult.
Through prison and hardships, the Judson were faithful. In 1824 war broke out between England and Burma. because they had white skin Adoniram and Ann were thought to be spies. Adoniram was sent to prison. while he was in prison an had her baby. Ann walked four miles in the middle of the night to the prison and have him the translation of the bible hidden in a pillow, Adoniram was released seventeen moths later to translate the peace treaty after he was realest Ann and the baby both died, Adoniram died on a ship at the age of sixty two and was buried at sea through prison and extreme hardships the Judson’s were faithful
Adoniram and Ann’s faith is outstanding two me. And how they diligently started the work in Burma is encouraging to me and finally their faith through hardships is inspiring.
Let us pray that god would help is to be like them.
